The new functionality makes it easier to identify important moments and work efficiently with large collections of video data.

LightlyStudio now provides improved tools for video analysis and annotation. The video overview page allows you to explore your videos through quick thumbnail previews, which makes scanning and identifying relevant clips much faster. After selecting a video, the dedicated detail view offers full playback controls for a thorough and precise review. LightlyStudio also supports per-frame annotations, enabling you to inspect the video content together with its corresponding labels.

Next up, LightlyStudio will introduce advanced search and selection powered by video embeddings. This upcoming capability will generate and use high-dimensional vector representations that capture the semantic and visual content of entire video clips. These embeddings will make it possible to perform content-based search and retrieval, including queries in natural language.
Furthermore, this technology will enable intelligent video selection and the visualization of video embeddings to make large video collections easier to navigate.
